Description
What is Isoleucine?
Isoleucine, an amino acid that makes up between 2% and 10% of most proteins, is a common one. Isoleucine amino acid, one of several so-called essential amino acids for humans, rats, and other higher animals, was first isolated from fibrin, a blood clot-forming protein, in 1904.i.e., they need food sources because they can’t make it. Isoleucine amino acid is made in plants and microorganisms from the amino acid threonine.

L-Isoleucine Uses
The immune system, including cells, immune organs, and reactive substances, can be enhanced by isoleucine.Host defense peptides known as -defensins, which have the ability to regulate both innate and adaptive immunity, have also been shown to be induced by isoleucine, according to recent research.
By increasing the expression of -defensins, isoleucine amino acid administration can also reverse the effects of some pathogens on human and animal health. As a result, the purpose of this review is to summarize the connection between immune functions and branched chain amino acids while also emphasizing the impact of isoleucine on immunity.
